[Air_Ground] 9 March: AEEC joint Subcommittee meeting - Aircraft Network Architecture and Domain Separation

Dear Network Specialist:

You are invited to participate in a web conference that will take a closer look at ARINC’s efforts to standardize aircraft data networks. It will explore the related topic of aircraft network domain separation. The meeting will be held Wednesday, March 9, starting at 0800PST, 1100EST, 1700CET. This meeting is being held at the recommendation of the SAI Subcommittee.

APIM 14-008 was approved at the AEEC Mid-Term Session in Brussels with the goal of producing ARINC Project Paper 848: Broadband Satellite System Functional Interface Standard.

Airbus has raised several concerns including system architecture details. The Airbus briefing is provided in advance for your consideration. The purpose of this meeting is to ensure that the overall goals of APIM 14-008 are being met in a way that satisfies the airline business needs, the airline technical needs, the needs of network system integrators, and the needs of other stakeholders in the ARINC Standards development process. This meeting will address these needs and concerns in anticipation of the AEEC General Session in Atlanta.
