[Air_Ground] 23-25 FEB - ARINC Meeting Invitation - Internet Protocol Suite (IPS) - Washington, DC

Dear Data Communication specialist:

The AEEC Executive Committee has formed a new Subcommittee dedicated to the Internet Protocol Suite (IPS) for Aeronautical Safety Services. This Subcommittee will prepare an industry roadmap leading to IPS standardization. This effort will involve ARINC Industry Activities and potentially other Standards Development Organizations (SDOs) working together to satisfy long-term airline needs and the needs of the aviation industry at large. Your participation is welcome and invited.

On behalf of the AEEC, the RTCA and our leadership (Airbus and Boeing), I am pleased to invite you to attend the first in-person meeting of the IPS Subcommittee.

The meeting will be held at the RTCA Headquarters in Washington, DC, starting at 0900 -- February 23, 24, 25. Details attached.

I am pleased to introduce the IPS leadership team: Luc Emberger of Airbus and Greg Saccone of Boeing. I will be working closely with the leadership team to prepare the agenda for this meeting. Individuals requesting time on the agenda for a short presentation may request to do so in writing by contacting Paul Prisaznuk at ARINC.

Keep in mind there is an IPS web conference in the interim, to be held Thursday, January 28 to further prepare for the meeting at RTCA.
