Dear Data Link Users Forum (DLUF) participant,

The following announcements:

Colin Gallant, British Airways, has tendered his resignation as the DLUF European co-chair after 17 years of exceptional leadership and service. Colin was recognized by the AEEC Executive Committee and presented the 2018 Austin Trumbull Award at the AEEC General Session recently held in Dallas, Texas. We wish Colin all the best in his new endeavors.

Captain Steinarr Bragason, Icelandair, will succeed Colin as the DLUF European co-chair, seated at the head table with Brian Gleason, Southwest Airlines, the American co-chair (brian.gleason at wnco.com).

Steinarr is a highly qualified addition to the DLUF leadership team. He is a B757/B767 Line Training Captain at Icelandair. His experience and duties include Icelandair Flight Safety Officer, former chairman of Icelandic pilot association safety committee, CRM instructor (1998-2005), Icelandair Emergency Response Field Team Investigator, and Member of ISASI International Society of Air Safety Investigators. He has been working as a development partner with a supplier on a dual stack FANS 1/A+ ATN B1 solution.

Steinarr says: "I´m excited to join the DLUF team looking forward hearing from you all."
