[Announce] 17Dec:: New AEEC Surveillance Standards - Kickoff Meeting

Dear Industry Professional:

You are invited to participate in the AEEC Traffic, Terrain, and Weather Surveillance kickoff meeting to be held Tuesday, December 17, starting at 0800 PST, 1100 EST, 1700 CET. Mohammad Ahmed, Boeing, will lead this effort per the statements of work, APIMs 19-007, 19-008, 19-009, attached to this invitation.

The purpose of the meeting is to prepare an industry plan for developing the following ARINC Standards in 2020-21:

  *   Supplement 5 to ARINC Specification 718A: Mark 4 ATC Transponder (ATCRBS/MODE S)
  *   Supplement 3 to ARINC Specification 735B: Traffic Computer TCAS and ADS-B Functionality
  *   Supplement 3 to ARINC Specification 768: Integrated Surveillance System (ISS)
  *   ARINC Project Paper 768A: Second Generation Integrated Surveillance System (2G ISS)
  *   ARINC Project Paper 7xx: Airborne Weather Radar System and Aircraft Installation Standards
