[Announce] 10FEB: AEEC's Systems Architecture and Interfaces (SAI) Subcommittee

Dear SAI Subcommittee Participant,

AEEC's Systems Architecture and Interfaces (SAI) Subcommittee will start the new year with on online meeting scheduled for Wednesday, February 10, convening at 0700PST, 1000EST, 1600CET. Topics include:
*       ICAO Global Aeronautical Distress and Safety System (GADSS) and Timely Recovery of Flight Data (TRFD)
*       Future CNS Radio Architectures and status of ARINC Project Paper 678: Communication, Navigation and Surveillance, (CNS) Radio System Architectures
*       5G Telephony impact on aircraft including the potential impact to Radio Altimeter.
*       Secure Software Distribution using digital signatures and multi-factor authentication. A status report will be provided.
*       Proposals to Initiate/Modify ARINC Standards:
*       APIM 15-004B - Internet Protocol Suite (IPS) - ARINC 858
*       APIM 19-004A - Cabin Secure Media Independent Messaging
*       APIM 21-xxx - Aircraft Network Infrastructure Guidance
*       APIM 21-yyy - Electronic Flight Bag Interfaces
*       Others to be announced (APIMs available Feb 5)
