All:
This is a friendly reminder to complete your plans for the next AMC Aircraft Support Data Management (ASDM) Working Group meeting in Dallas. The meeting details are included in the announcement at http://www.aviation-ia.com/events/AsdmAnnounce.pdf . Southwest Airlines is hosting this meeting.

If you are planning to attend, please remember (if you have not already done so) to provide your name and affiliation via email to Kate Parrott at kparrott at sae-itc.org<mailto:kparrott at sae-itc.org> by October 14, 2014. This will be used to make sure that participants have security passes for the meeting.

I would like to develop a detailed agenda based on the action items from the previous meeting. This will include the following:

- Session 1 to review current airline data management processes, including Delta, Southwest, and American. Will other operators provide input?

- Session 2 to review current system supplier data management processes, including Panasonic, Thales, Row44, and Zodiac. Will other suppliers provide input?

- Session 3 to review management processes for EFB applications (Southwest)

- Proposals for guidance document (ARINC Project Paper 675), based on action items from the previous meeting:

o Definitions (Thales)

o User Modifiable Software and system-level certification (Boeing)

o Network Security considerations (Delta)

- Discussion of applicability of Remote Management considerations identified in Appendix B of ARINC Characteristic 791, Part 2

- Develop plan and writing assignments

Please suggest any additional topics that should be addressed at the meeting. Also, let me know if you will be providing input for session 1 through 3 so that I can develop a more-detailed schedule. A detailed agenda will be published one week prior to the meeting.

I look forward to seeing you in Dallas. Best regards,
Tom
