[CDS] CDS Meeting in Bordeaux, France, is still on

All-
There have been many questions pertaining to the upcoming CDS meeting in Bordeaux, France, on March 9-13.

As of this time, the meeting is still on as scheduled and at the location agreed upon.

Thales, the hosting facility, as of now is still allowing us to meet there.
However, this authorization is only valid while France is considering the epidemic to be in Stage 2. If the French government decides to move a step forward and declare Step 3 (which could happen at any time), the situation would need to be reassessed, and our authorization to meet at Thales could be rescinded.  At that point, we may have to scramble to find an offsite meeting location, if possible.  Also, if a Stage 3 is declared, it may be possible that your company would forbid you to travel to France.

Updated French government health information (in French) can be found at https://www.gouvernement.fr/info-coronavirus, which gives the current Stage the French government is at.  The page easily translates with Google Translate.

We are also planning on setting up a WebEx for those who are unable or unwilling to travel to the meeting, so keep an eye on your email for that.

I will be traveling to Bordeaux on Saturday, so unless the situation changes before that point, I will see you all in Bordeaux.
