The AEEC Cabin Systems Subcommittee will hold a web conference on January 16, 2018. Meeting details are below.

The meeting is to discuss the workplan for ARINC Project Paper 648: Requirements and Recommended Practices for Seat Production Testing

This project will standardize seat testing at the seat manufacturer’s facility prior to delivery to an airframe manufacturer or retrofit operation.
This conference is in preparation of the next CSS meeting on February 20-22, 2018, in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

Provide a description of the scope of the testing of IFE equipment integrated in the seat at the Seat Supplier for section 3.0.  Include documentation describing test setup, interfaces tested and test results.

Rewrite section 3.2.2.3 to indicate that the ATP for the seat will test the interface between the SAC/ECU and the IFE Seat equipment as only a basic interface test no control aspects.  Add a note that states that prior design verification testing between the SAC/ECU and the IFE seat equipment will verify the control of the actuation equipment from the IFES equipment.
