On behalf of the CSS leadership:

Good day,

The AEEC Cabin Systems Subcommittee (CSS) will meet May 22-24, 2019, in Fulda, Germany. The meeting is hosted by CotsWorks.
Please finalize your travel arrangements, and prepare for the CSS meeting.
If you have inputs or require time on the agenda, please submit them soon for evaluation.

As an aside, the hard work of all of the CSS participants has resulted in several successful accomplishments.

At the 2019 AEEC General Session, the AEEC adopted:
ARINC Project Paper 820: Cabin Architecture for Wireless Distribution System, to become an ARINC Specification.

Additionally, the AEEC approved the following:
APIM 19-002: Supplements to ARINC 485, Parts 1 and 2 (material to allow for higher bus speed)
Part 1, Head End Equipment Protocol
               Part 2, Physical Layer - In-Seat Protocol
APIM 19-003: Supplement 4 to ARINC 628 Part 5 (clarify wiring chafing guidance)
Cabin Electrical Equipment and Wiring Installation Guidelines

Over future CSS meetings, these projects will be marshalled through to their own successful conclusions.

If there is anything you might need from me, please do not hesitate to ask.

Smitty

Best regards,
