[DLK] AeroMACS -- Invitation to Participate

Dear AeroMACS Specialist:

I am pleased to announce that the first AeroMACS Working Group meeting will take place November 12-13, 2015 in Cocoa Beach, Florida. The meeting will be collocated with the DataLink Systems Subcommittee meeting to be held at the Hilton Cocoa Beach (DLK dates Nov 10-11). Interested parties are invited to attend both meetings. The purpose of the meeting is to review inputs to ARINC Project Paper 766 describing an AeroMACS radio transceiver and the associated aircraft installation details. The AeroMACS Working Group will consider the role of existing standards, namely RTCA DO-345 Profile, RTCA DO-346 MOPS, and other pertinent documents. The goal is to prepare a mature equipment standard by the end of 2016. Individuals requesting time on the agenda are encouraged to contact ARINC.
