This email serves as a reminder that this Wednesday, November 6th, there will be an AEEC Data Link Systems Subcommittee web conference.
This will be a joint conference with RTCA SC-214 and EUROCAE WG-92.
The WebEx meeting invitation can be found at the end of this transmittal.
The meeting goals are:
1. Complete APIM: Supplement 10 to ARINC Specification 620 - Datalink Ground System Standard and Interface Specification (DGSS/IS)
The APIM standardizes a "Deliver By (DB) Text Element Identifier (TEI)" to be included in the ARINC 620 Header. It also documents new "Intercept Codes". These features will be implemented by the DSPs to address "MAS Fail with Response" issues observed during Initial FAA Data Comm En Route operation.
1. Further develop the EUROCAE/RTCA Interoperability Companion Document
Please review your assigned action and complete prior to the Web Conference (Attached is the DLK/VDL Standards Group Action Items list).
1. Discuss updating AEEC APIM 17-002A (Supplement 8 to ARINC Specification 631 - VLDM2 Implementation Provisions)
