Thanks for yesterday’s productive Web Conference!

At the end of this email is the invitation to the next AEEC DLK Systems Subcommittee Web Conference, scheduled for April 2, 2020. This is a joint online meeting with RTCA SC-214 and EUROCAE WG-92

The March 16th Web Conference results have been captured in the VDL Standards Development Schedule, the ARINC 620 D3S10 Strawman and the VDL Standards Group Action Items List.

Attached, please find:

  *   Tom McGuffin’s (Spectralux) ARINC 631 D4S8 suggestions

The attached documents and the ARINC 620 D3S10 Strawman have been loaded to the AEEC DLK SharePoint

Some of the Open Items that need addressing Include:
02 – DSPs to advise desired format of avionics perceived Channel Utilization (Use RR frame, average value, instantaneous, 2 seconds ago, etc.)
56 – Meaning of CMU/SDU = Logged ON; Is link available (SDU label 270, bits 17 and 19); Input from IRIS Precursor Programme (Zbig - SITA, Jiri - HI, Brian – AirTel ATN)
91 – Advance Connectionless VDLM2 discussion (White Paper solicitation)
101 – Continue when to HO to Destination Airport
125 – Create Issues Matrix (using OPRs list from DCIT / NM source)
128 – DCIT request: Review A631 Timers and Counters (Waiting on L3Harris to advise which to review)
133 – DSPs to Propose A618 Timers and Counters for Connectionless VDLM2
136 – DSPs to comment on Airbus Satcom Presentation
138/140/148/152 – DSPs to Review revisions to A620-10 Attachment 2 Reason Codes and associated Comments
152 – Dan (L3Harris) to review revised wording for reason code 336
153 – Review A620-10 Appendix B: new wording for Text Element Transmission Path (TP)
