Subject: Rome EFB Users Forum

Hello All,

Preparations are well underway and excitement is building for EFB Users Forum IX to be held next month in Rome. The four session topics will be: Regulatory, Human Factors, Security and Connectivity, and Operator Experiences. Speakers representing EASA, the FAA and Eurocontrol will discuss Regulatory updates. Human Factors is returning as a session topic, along with Security and Connectivity, and the ever popular Operator Experiences. As always, we will have a powerful lineup of fresh speakers to update you on all of the latest developments, so you can be sure the Rome EFB Users Forum will be another successful event. In addition, we will host a Happy Hour Reception at the conclusion of the first full day of the Forum, November 12th. This is a perfect opportunity for you to network and reconnect with old friends and acquaintances. You will not want to miss this event!

The Rome EXPO promises to be memorable as well. It will run on Tuesday, November 11th (preceding the Forum) from 1600-2100. Our suppliers will showcase their latest products and services, and a Mediterranean buffet along with wine, beer and soft drinks will be featured.
If you are planning to attend this Forum but have not yet registered, please use the links provided in the above meeting notice to register with ARINC and to reserve a room at the preferred rate. Advance ARINC registration will close on Friday, October 31st. If you do not register in advance, you will be required to do so at the door.
A limited number of rooms are still available at Rome Marriott Park Hotel at the special rate of € 117 per night. This includes breakfast and hotel-wide internet. The rooms are selling quickly, and the deadline to secure this rate is October 9, 2014. If you are planning to stay at the Marriott, please be sure to reserve your room no later than next Thursday. After that date, any unsold rooms will be released from the block and the special rate can no longer be guaranteed.

On behalf of the EFB Leadership Team, we look forward to seeing you all again in Rome!

Best Regards,

                                Peter
