Hello All,

Preparations are now underway and momentum is building for the EFB Users Forum XIV. This conference will be held at The Vienna Marriott Hotel, hosted by Austrian Airlines. The session topics will be Regulatory, Security and Connectivity, Performance Applications, and everyone's favorite: Operator Experiences.

At previous meetings, you have seen the efforts on own-ship position.  In Vienna, you will see the final touches on this initiative which resulted in a major regulatory change.   Our presenters will be discussing this accomplishment, and its inclusion in the recently released for comment AC 120-76D.  These successes are made possible by the relationships built at this conference. You will also learn about the significant progress in performance applications, synthetic vision, in-flight connectivity, and more.  We invite you to engage and ask questions of our experts, or chat informally with them during one of the coffee breaks or lunch.

The Main EXPO in Vienna takes place on Tuesday, June 13th.  It begins at 2:00 PM and continues through 7:00 PM, and will include local specialties and an open bar from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  Be sure to stop by to see the latest offerings - you will not be disappointed.  If you miss some exhibitors on Tuesday, or want to visit them again, you can take advantage of the Supplemental EXPO on Wednesday June 14th during coffee breaks and lunch. The Forum begins at 9:00 AM on Wednesday June 14th with our Regulatory session.  You will hear the latest updates on EASA's AMC 20-25 and the FAA's upcoming AC 120-76D direct from the authorities who write them.  The afternoon session will be Security and Connectivity, where you will learn about the latest developments in air to ground connectivity and how to protect it.   On Thursday June 15th, we will begin with Performance Applications, followed by the ever popular Operator Experiences.  You will hear from new airlines which have never before presented, as well as the reasons behind their unique solutions.
