<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">During the 2019 FSEMC in Utrecht, Netherlands, an item submitted by Delta Air Lines on fixes through the release of completely new software releases created a significant amount
of discussion. Over the last few years, the industry has moved to a software release approach mostly driven by suppliers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and Training Device Manufacturers (TDMs). During the 2019 FSEMC Conference, the need to hold
a meeting to explore how the software release approach could be better adapted to users’ and operators’ needs was raised.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
