Hello All,

   Attached is the PowerPoint presented on the HRCS WebEx today.  As mentioned on the call, the HRCS/IVHM will have a dedicated session at the Innovations In Mobility (IIM) Conference planned for October 29-31, 2019 in Novi (Detroit) Michigan.  This is a three-day conference targeted at automotive, although other sectors will be touched upon as well. We have five committed speakers as of today, and can accept up to four more.
   The HRCS Consortium membership documents are now fully accessible from the website at: www.sae-itc.com/hrcs<http://www.sae-itc.com/hrcs>.   Once formed, members of the HRCS Consortium will determine which challenges to undertake, their relative priority, and how best to accomplish them.  If action is taken now, industry standard practices, protocols, and standards can be developed so that Suppliers, Integrators/OEMs, and Operators/Customers can all benefit with interoperable methods, improved performance feedback, and increased reliability with concomitant greater customer satisfaction.
   We believe that an SAE-ITC Consortium is the best structure to lead future IVHM/HRCS development.  Participants can collaborate on a pre-competitive basis to promote IVHM through the application of the JA6268 standard and ancillary protocols.   A single industry standard will help avoid the proliferation of multiple approaches which would be costly and counterproductive.
