[HRCS] HRCS Strategy Group Meeting Invitation

Hello All,

   Attached please find the presentation given in this week's HRCS Strategy Group call as well as the Letter of Intent (LOI).   As discussed on the call, the LOI is the first step toward formation of a Health-Ready Components and Systems (HRCS) Consortium.  You may utilize this to initiate engagement with your company.  The next step will be the formalized Membership Agreement. The Membership Agreement specifically details responsibilities, privileges, and benefits of membership in the consortium. If a single step would be easier for you to implement at your company, you can proceed directly to the Membership Agreement (to be distributed shortly).
  Please note that we have updated the badges shown during the WebEx.  This includes a wording revision, as well as the color utilized for Stage 3 components.
  We believe an SAE-ITC Consortium to be the best structure to lead development on a go-forward basis.  We see an opportunity to move proactively to speed IVHM implementation through the application of the JA6268 standard and ancillary protocols.   A single standard can help avoid proliferation of multiple different approaches which would be counterproductive.
   It is our intent that going forward, the members of the HRCS Consortium will determine which challenges to undertake and how best to accomplish them.  If action is taken now, industry standard practices, protocols, and standards can be implemented such that Suppliers, Integrators/OEMs, and Operators/Customers can all benefit with interoperable methods, improved performance feedback, and increased reliability with concomitant greater customer satisfaction- a "win-win-win."
   Please review the LOI with the appropriate personnel in your organization and return the signed document indicating your interest and support of this proposal. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have, and I look forward to speaking with you all again on May 7th.
