Subject: PP568 Section 5 - Gap Analysis and Roadmap Files

Paul,
The attached files contain the latest versions of the Gap Analysis spreadsheet and IPS standardization roadmap (DRAFT).
NOTES:
*         Gap Analysis
* This version changes/improves the way that gaps are captured, making the spreadsheet a bit simpler. Column D is used to status the work activity as: Complete, In-Progress, Planned, Proposed, *GAP*, *TBD*. When GAP is selected, the gap description is captured in Column H and shown in RED text.
* This version incorporates all inputs received-to-date. The recent input from Luc Emberger included additions to the work areas and sub-work areas, and those additions are highlighted in YELLOW in Columns A and B.
*         Roadmap
* The DRAFT roadmap is built using information from the gap analysis spreadsheet. It currently includes entries for AEEC, RTCA, and ICAO, with the primary focus on AEEC as agreed during the LON meeting. There is an OTHER section for eventually capturing activities such as NextGen or SESAR validation activities, as suggested by Luc.
* The ICAO information is taken directly from the current WG-I job cards, and the RTCA information was provided by Aloke Roy based on the current SC-223 TOR.
* The AEEC information is based on suggested IPS-related work captured in the gap analysis worksheet. The dotted-line schedule bars are just placeholders since start/end dates are not yet known. Further work is necessary to define and align these activities.

Please forward these files to the IPS participants for review/feedback and additional inputs, all of which may be sent to me directly (mike.olive at honeywell.com<mailto:mike.olive at honeywell.com>).
Thanks.
Mike
