Subject: PP858d1-04 - pre-M14 Version

Paul,
The PP858d1-04 draft document - both redline and clean versions - is posted on the AEEC IPS SharePoint. The attached PDF file provides an updated document assessment, and it also summarizes the changes in this version. Very good progress over the past several months to address comments.
If I receive any additional comments and/or suggested changes by CoB on Friday, 19 June, I will incorporate them into an updated version prior to the meeting. Otherwise, the clean version will serve as the starting point for Meeting 14.

In addition to reviewing the current draft during the meeting, I recommend discussing the following topics:
* Two restructuring/rewording proposals, which are not yet incorporated in the PP858 document:
* Airbus-proposed (Timo) changes to Section 4.4.1, Cryptographic Key Management <-- this proposal is posted on the AEEC IPS SharePoint
* Airtel-proposed (Fryd) changes to Appendix C, Ground IPS Architecture <-- this proposal is still a work in progress with a coordination meeting planned this week among, Airtel, Collins, Honeywell, and Boeing to discuss further.
* Overall strategy for addressing Section 4, Attachment 4, and Appendix C comments, which represent 80% of the open comments.
* Timing for PP858d2 (second public draft).

Mike
