Attached is the PP858P1d2-07_20210127 (REDLINE).pdf, which is Part 1, Airborne IPS System. The redlines in this version reflect: (1) real-time changes during the meeting last week; (2) further disposition of some action items; (3) the decision to move the IPS Management Application material (original Attachment 4) to ICAO WG-I; and (4) the post-meeting decision to create a multi-part specification and move the IPS Gateway material (original Appendix C) to PP858 Part 2.
Notable changes in the attached file include:
*         GENERAL - Text, references, and figures updated to reflect the removal of the IPS Management Application material.
*         GENERAL - Headers, text, references, and figures updated (as necessary) to reflect the multi-part specification.
*         Section 1.2 - Figure 1-1 update to reflect the multi-part specification
*         Section 1.3 - Document overview updated to the reflect multi-part specification (using a format similar to A664)
*         Section 1.4.2 - Updated to reflect only the references used in Part 1 of the multi-part specification. Part 2 will have its own list.
*         Section 3.3.2.3 - Real-time text updates discussed/captured during M16
*         Section 4.4.2.5 - Post-meeting text updates to address open comment
*         Section 5.3.2.2 - Real-time text updates discussed/captured during M16
*         Attachment 1 - Updated to reflect only the acronyms used in Part 1 of the multi-part specification.  Part 2 will have its own list.
*         Attachment 4 - Original IPS Management Application Material removed.  Original Attachment 5 renumbered to be Attachment 4.
*         Appendix B, B-3 - Updated text/figure to reflect removal of IPS Management Application from PP858.
*         Appendix B, B-4.1 - Real-time text updates discussed/captured during M16

The attached Excel spreadsheet may be used to provide comments and suggested resolutions.  Reviewers are asked to identify themself in Columns B/C and indicate the version being reviewed in Column D/E, which I have pre-populated to reflect the attached PP858P1d2-07 file.  Comments are due NLT 26-Feb.
I am continuing to transfer the IPS Gateway material (original Appendix C) to its new home in PP858 Part 2.  A small-group telecon is scheduled for later this week to continue working comments and action items in that material.  My plan is to provide the Part 2 document to you early next week.
