Dear IPS Specialist,

I am very pleased to announced that the AEEC Executive Committee adopted ARINC Project Paper 858 Part 1 and Part 2 at the AEEC General Session held May 11, 2021. The "Gray Cover" publications are expected in mid to late June.

AEEC has approved the plan to prepare Supplements 1 to ARINC 858 Part 1 and Part 2, and Supplement 1 in to ARINC 658 Roadmap documents by October 2022/May 2023.

Major milestone reached. The work goes on:

  *   Next IPS SC check-in meeting will be held Tuesday, May 25 (0800 / 1100 / 1700).
  *   Next 3-day meeting will be held June 21-23, 2021. Check your in-box for meeting details previously circulated.
  *   ACTION ITEM list attached. We need to discuss and populate the "due date" column.

Congratulations on a successful General Session and in particular the adoption of PP858P1 and PP858P2.

In preparation for the telecon next week, the attached file contains the open actions and the assignments discussed during the last telecon.  Please forward to the IPS participants as a reminder, and hopefully there will be progress on some of the actions that can be discussed next week.  I plan to present a short paper on terminology.
