[KuBand] KSAT Fiber Optics Requirements

Dear Ku-band and Ka-band Satellite Communications Experts,

In preparation for tomorrow's KSAT Subcommittee online conference, I sent the email below on March 24th (after the EEC Fiber Optics Subcommittee online conference).

Attached, please find the KSAT Fiber Optics requirements matrix and the list of 26 Fiber Connections that require further description. No new inputs have been received.

March 24, 2021 email:
...Dear Ku-band and Ka-band Satellite Communications Experts,

The next KSAT Subcommittee Online Conference is scheduled for April 7, 2021.

During the last Fiber Optics Subcommittee Online conference (held March 24, 2021), it was requested that the KSAT Subcommittee thoroughly describe the required 26 Fiber Optics connection (see Figure below).
Include the Signal name (e.g., AMU Ref 1) and all possible information on type (i.e.: Ethernet/Digital/Discrete/Control/RF or LF/Ref Freq), What is the Frequency/the Speed? What is the maximum wire length for each connection? (longest possible length from equipment in pressurized vessel to furthest possible connection on equipment outside the aircraft (antenna area in non-pressurized environment), expected number of disconnects, etc.

Required for April 7th meeting (Goal is to complete during the meeting and submittal to FOS after the meeting).
