Dear Ku-Band and Ka-Band Satellite Communications experts,

Thanks to those that attended Wednesday's (November 9th Fiber Optic Session) and Thursday's (November 10th ARINC 791 and 792 Sessions) AEEC KSAT Subcommittee conferences.

This transmittal serves to advise and to invite you to the AEEC KSAT Subcommittee online meeting scheduled for December 13, 2022 (starts at 11:00 AM Eastern USA Time).
NOTES:
The AEEC KSAT Subcommittee is developing the following standards that will be reviewed during the meeting:

  *   Supplement 2 to ARINC Characteristic 791, Mark I Aviation Ku-Band and Ka-Band Satellite Communication Systems, Part 2, Electrical Interfaces and Functional Description
  *   ARINC Project Paper 791, Mark I Aviation Ku-Band and Ka-Band Satellite Communication Systems, Part 3, Networking
  *   Supplement 2 to ARINC Characteristic 792,  Second Generation Ku-band and Ka-band Satellite Communication System
  *   ARINC Project Paper 792A, Multi-Modem KSAT System with Fiber Optic Interfaces
Please review and provide inputs for ARINC Characteristic 791 Parts 2 and 3. The strawman can be found in the AEEC KSAT Teams development SharePoint.
