[Ndb] ARINC 424A Updates

Hello All:

Please read the note below from Don Nicholas, Honeywell, regarding the ARINC 424A UML Model and associated material.

Attached is the excel file with the updated 424A schedule.  The other excel file is the updates to the UML model.

As for the Zip file reference in Don's note, that has been posted to the NDB web page, due size and those firewalls that will not accept zip files. The NDB web page address is http://aviation-ia.com/aeec/projects/ndb/index.html

As for my action item, I'm in the process of incorporating the New Section 6 and 7 in the ARINC Project Paper 424A.  My goal is to have that posted by the 3rd week of September.

Sam,
Here is the ARINC 424A update.  Please forward on for Comments.

We have completed all the updates for ARINC 424A UML Models as per ARINC 424-19 and ARINC 424-20 incorporating the comments received by the A424A subcommittee.
Following are the updates done.

1.       Design Principles

a.       Revised the Complete Design principles document.

b.      Updated as per the comments received from the NDB Subcommittee.

2.       UML Models

a.       Completed UML Model updates as per ARINC 424-19.

b.      Updated the UML Model as per the updated design principles document.

c.       Updated the UML Model as per the comments received from the NDB committee.

d.      Updated the UML model as per ARINC 424-20.

e.      Updated the UML model for all the applicable comments.

3.       RTF Templates

a.       Updated the templates for Section 7 to provide more details like multiplicity and the complete name of the Data type.

Following artifacts are present in the attached work package zip file.

1.       Updated Design Principles Document.

2.       Comments received from the NDB committee on the A424A UML Model and their responses.

3.       Updated A424A UML Model as per ARINC 424-19 incorporating the comments.

4.       Updated A424A UML Model as per ARINC 424-20 incorporating the comments.

5.       XSD Schemas for both models.

6.       Section 6 and Section 7 RTF documents for both the models.

We have also attached the ARINC 424A schedule and the list of updates done in the UML model as part of ARINC 424-20.
