Happy New Year!

We are a little less than 2 weeks away from the next NIS Subcommittee Meeting. Headcount is very important for planning purposes. Please let us know if you will be joining us in Carlsbad.

January 21-23, 2020
Tuesday through Thursday from 0900 to 1700

The AEEC KSAT Subcommittee meeting will also be held January 21-23, 2020, at the same location.

Meeting Objectives and Schedule

The goal of the meeting is to reach consensus on ARINC Project Papers 848 and 686 for presentation to the AEEC General Session.

The objectives of the meeting are to:

  1.  Continue development of ARINC Project Paper 848: Broadband Network Interface for Non-Safety Services
  2.  Continue development of ARINC Project Paper 686: Roadmap for IPv6 Transition in Aviation (Tentative)
  3.  Continue development of ARINC Project Paper 687: Onboard Secure Wi-Fi Network Profile
  4.  Continue development of ARINC Project Paper 688: Intersystem Network Infrastructure
