AEEC General Session

We are excited to bring an informative and interactive approach to the 2024 AEEC General Session. Instead of the traditional approach where each AEEC Subcommittee presents its status, selected subcommittees will deliver more in-depth presentations focused on fostering a deeper understanding of the committee's topic and outlining major discussions within the committee.

With these changes, attendees will increase their understanding of the Avionics engineering challenges undertaken in the AEEC, have a more open forum to discuss their own challenges or insights, and be exposed to new ideas they can bring back to their organization. If you are an engineer just starting in the industry or a long-time professional looking to expand your knowledge and awareness, the 2024 AEEC General Session is a fantastic opportunity to interact with industry experts in the field.

The Symposium are:


  *   Predictive Maintenance
  *   World Radiocommunication Conference
     *   WRC23 Outcomes
     *   Space VHF
     *   6G and Radio Altimeter
  *   Software Data Loading
  *   Internet Protocol Suite

Awards


The award nomination forms for the Volare Award and the AEEC Trumbull Award are open for submission.

The categories remain the same:

  *   Avionics Engineering
  *   Avionics Manufacturer
  *   Avionics Maintenance
  *   Avionics Product Support
  *   Special Award
  *   Pioneer Award

Additionally, the AEEC ExCom will accept nominations for the AEEC Trumbull Award.  The Trumbull Award is presented for outstanding individual contributions by an airline employee to the work of the AEEC.

Please take a minute and reflect if you know a candidate for one of these categories. Submit their name, along with supporting information, before 29 February 2024.
