Dear FMS Specialist,

Thursday, November 5 starting at 0800PST, 1100EST, 1700CET.

You are invited to participate in a web conference to initiate the development of Supplement 5 to ARINC Characteristic 702A: Advance Flight Management Computer System. The FMS functions defined by Supplement 5 are expected part of the larger CNS/ATM initiatives of NextGen and SESAR to increase the capacity and efficiency of the airspace.  These evolutions include enhanced datalink, satellite-based approach procedures, airport moving map and guidance, and electronic flight bags. APIM 15-005 provides the statement of work.

The meeting agenda for November 5, prepared by Mike Bakker, GE Aviation, and Sam Miller, MITRE, is attached.
