Hello Timely Recovery of Flight Data Participants,

    Attached please find the notes from today's teleconference.  Please keep in mind that Boeing is organizing regular WebEx conferences on a preplanned schedule.  Here is the material we reviewed/worked during the call:

As a reminder, we will be holding a meeting on September 2nd dedicated to reviewing the TFD Patent Disclosure by FLYHT.  There are three possible courses of action:



  1.  Revise the A681 language to avoid patent infringement;
  2.  Eliminate TFD from the Standard;
  3.  Invite FLYHT to include their IP and offer it under fair, reasonable, and non-discriminatory (FRAND) terms


    Please consider the implications and impact to your business interests and be prepared to discuss at the dedicated meeting.

We look forward to speaking with you all again at the next regular TRFD WebEx scheduled for Wednesday, August 5th.
