[SAI] 10FEB: New AEEC Project Proposals for 2021

Hello all:

I hope 2021 is off to a great start. The SAI Subcommittee will meet next Wednesday, February 10 per the invitation below. I am very pleased to send 5 new AEEC Project Proposals (APIMs) and 5 revised APIMs in the attached ZIP file. Please save the attached file and change extension to ZIP before opening.

Agenda for our February 10 meeting, along with the agenda follows.

On a lighter note, to those that already have their bags packed for Miami and plane tickets in hand, well this is quite understandable. However, this will be the first time in over 10 years that we're not meeting in Coral Gables at the offices of Gables Engineering. I hope we can return again soon!

AEEC's Systems Architecture and Interfaces (SAI) Subcommittee will start the new year with on online meeting scheduled for Wednesday, February 10, convening at 0700PST, 1000EST, 1600CET. Topics include:
*       ICAO Global Aeronautical Distress and Safety System (GADSS) and Timely Recovery of Flight Data (TRFD)
*       Future CNS Radio Architectures and status of ARINC Project Paper 678: Communication, Navigation and Surveillance, (CNS) Radio System Architectures
*       5G Telephony impact on aircraft including the potential impact to Radio Altimeter.
*       Secure Software Distribution using digital signatures and multi-factor authentication. A status report will be provided.
*       Proposals to Initiate/Modify ARINC Standards (documents in the attached file)
