Hello All,

At the General Session last week, the Executive Committee approved ARINC Report 681: Timely Recovery of Flight Data (TRFD). It was unanimously approved as presented with no changes. The final “Grey Cover” version will be published this summer. The charter of this Working Group has now been completely fulfilled. In the event that regulatory or other changes require updates to either ARINC Report 680: Aircraft Autonomous Distress Tracking (ADT) or ARINC Report 681: Timely Recovery of Flight Data (TRFD), the group will be reconstituted.
This has been a strong, well-functioning group, and we sincerely appreciate the contributions made by all. On behalf of Greg Moran, John Fisher, and I, it has been an honor and a pleasure to work with you. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors,

Sincerely,

John Fisher Peter Grau Greg Moran
