Dear SAI Subcommittee participant,

It is with great sadness that I share the news of Reinhard’s death last Sunday at his home in Frankfurt. Reinhard was a true friend and will be greatly missed. Reinhard often called on us to do better as an industry. May his legacy endure forever.

Please take a moment to reflect on Reinhard’s life and his contribution to aviation. I hope you will share your thoughts in his Remembrance Book using the link below.

My condolences to Reinhard’s lovely wife, to his family, and to his extended family at Lufthansa.

Dear friends and colleagues,

It is with great sorrow that I need to inform you that our good friend and colleague Reinhard Andreae passed away unexpectedly on the 10th  of October.

It truly is sad to hear of his sudden passing just yesterday. Reinhard was a nice man and a huge contributor to AEEC, he co-chaired the SAI for many years. I spent many professional years with him and counted him as one of the great friends in our industry.

Let’s remember his kind personality and his many accomplishments.

Condolences will be passed to his family and friends.
