Dear Cockpit Display Specialist,

You are invited to participate in the subject meeting to be held Monday, February 7, starting at 0800PST, 1100EST, 1700CET. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the attached avionics functional protocol proposal as submitted by Honeywell with collaboration from Airbus and Thales. See document attached.

Should there be sufficient support for developing a new ARINC Standard, an APIM will be drafted for review and comment prior to consideration by the Airlines Electronic Engineering Committee (AEEC).

See additional note from Brian Gilbert below.

Best regards,
Paul Prisaznuk

Manuel et al,

After discussion with the CDS group in our meeting today, we would like to propose Monday, February 7 at 5PM (UTC+1) time for your team to present the Functional Protocol proposal to the CDS committee. Please let us know if there are any issues with that day and time.

Paul, would you like to set up a Teams meeting for this purpose, or have the presenters set up the virtual meeting on the platform of their choosing? Note that this will be a one-off CDS meeting, it will not take the place or coincide with a normal monthly Part 1, Part 2, or Metadata meeting.

Best regards,

Brian Gilbert
