[Air_Ground] IPS Activity - Step 2

Dear IPS Subcommittee participant:

ARINC is pleased to announce that Step 2 of the Internet Protocol Suite (IPS) for Aeronautical Safety Services has begun.

The AEEC Executive Committee approved ARINC Project Paper 658 at the AEEC Mid-Term Session held in Brussels. An ARINC Gray Cover document is expected be published before the end of the year.

The AEEC Executive Committee also approved APIM 15-004A, formally starting the drafting process for ARINC Project Paper 858: Internet Protocol Suite (IPS) for Aeronautical Safety Services - Technical Requirements.

The next in-person meeting is scheduled for January 9, 10, 11, 2018 in Cocoa Beach, Florida. I look forward to seeing you there.
