[DLK] Hyperconnected ATM Kickoff Meeting

Hello All,
   You are invited to participate in an open Teams call meeting on Thursday January 16th to launch the Hyperconnected Air Traffic Management (HCATM) Subcommittee. The objective of this committee is to enable the use of non-safety broadband connectivity systems and links, complimenting safety links, to rapidly increase datalink capacity. The Subcommittee will be Co-Chaired by Luc Emberger (Airbus) and Greg Saccone (Boeing). The subcommittee is tasked with developing two Project Papers within two years:

  1.  Hyperconnected ATM System Technical Requirements (Part 1- Airborne, Part 2- Ground)
  2.  Hyperconnected ATM Protocol
  These are detailed in the APIM above which authorizes development of these Project Papers. Monthly Teams calls are anticipated, along with three face-to-face meetings per year. The first in-person meeting is tentatively planned for early March. If you are interested in joining this group, please attend the call, and we look forward to hearing from you then.
