Hello All,

Preparations are underway and momentum is building for EFB Users Forum XII.  This conference will be held at the Hilton Munich Park, hosted by Lufthansa Systems.   The session topics will be Regulatory Issues, Security and Connectivity, Mobile Applications, and everyone’s favorite, Operator Experiences.

Building on our progress from Dubai, we will address all of the hottest issues including:  aircraft security, airport moving map, own-ship position enroute, cockpit WiFi, and live satellite weather just to name a few.  In Munich, we will also discuss cabin devices and applications for the first time, and what some carriers are now doing in this rapidly developing area.   As always, you will have the opportunity to get answers directly from the authorities on these subjects.  Where else can you learn so much, in one place, straight from the experts?  This Forum is shaping up to be our best event yet!

Our suppliers are planning another memorable EXPO as well.  It begins at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 24th, and will include airframers, hardware and software suppliers, system integrators and service providers.   The buffet will include local favorites and fine beers from 5:00-7:00 PM.  We will also hold a Supplemental EXPO on the first Forum day, Wednesday May 25th during the coffee breaks and lunch hour. Following the first complete day of presentations, Lufthansa Systems invites you to a very special reception at the world famous Staatliches Hofbräuhaus.  The Hofbräuhaus was founded in 1589 by Wilhelm V, the Duke of Bavaria, and is today still owned by the state of Bavaria.  German food will served, and you will have your choice of premium beers, all while taking in traditional entertainment.  Participants will be transported to and from the Hofbräuhaus directly from the hotel, making it easy and worry-free. This promises to be a most memorable occasion. It is the perfect way to unwind and discuss the day’s activities among friends. Everyone is welcome, and we hope you will join us. You will not want to miss this event!

One registration covers any and all activities, and it is essential to accomplish this irrespective of which events you actually attend.  Those who do not preregister in advance will be required to do so at the door.  The hotel room block is also selling quickly and will close on April 22nd.
