The EmTech  Working Group will continue development of ARINC Project Paper 451: Guidance on the Application of Immersive Technologies to Flight Training and Simulation.

ARINC Project Paper 451 covers a broad range of topics specific to immersive technologies and their application to flight training devices. This includes industry best practices, key technological considerations as they might either enable or hinder the broader adoption of the technology, training device design and regulatory considerations. Those topics include:

  *   Training and Instructions
  *   xR Technology
  *   Sound Cueing
  *   Motion Cueing
  *   Performance, Data Collection, and Usage
  *   Simulation Fidelity and Regulatory Requirements
  *   Health and Safety
  *   User Experience and User Interface

  *   Deployment, Maintenance, and Support

The working group will review each section for completeness and address any remaining tasks to meet the target adoption date of October 2024.
