Importance: High

Hi Paul,
With many folks returning from summer vacation and US folks taking time off for the upcoming Labor Day holiday, I wanted to ask if you could send a friendly reminder that inputs to PP858 are due by 8 Sep, which is only six days from now.
Thanks,
Mike

Dear IPS Subcommittee participant,

Our next meeting will be a 3-day meeting to be held September 22-24, 2020. The purpose of the meeting is to review ARINC Project Paper 858: Internet Protocol Suite (IPS) for Aeronautical Safety Services – Technical Requirements.

Look for 3 separate meeting invitations coming from ARINC.

To prepare for this meeting, Mike Olive, Honeywell, has prepared list of open action items. Responses due Tuesday, September 8. See note below.

Best regards,
Paul

Paul,
Attached is the latest action item spreadsheet. The down-arrow in cell B3 can be used to filter the sheet and show only OPEN actions. I recommend focusing first on the action items that do not have dependencies; we may get some clarity on the others as an output of the ICAO WG-I meeting the week prior to the AEEC IPS meeting.

Sine there were no changes to the document text during the telecon, the current DRAFT2 version is still the latest material for review. The new action items that were discussed are captured in the action item list, and e-mails regarding those new actions have been sent to the action item owners.

The attached PDF shows the updated near-term schedule. The next critical date is 8-Sep, when I’ll need all inputs for the version of the document that will be discussed during Meeting 15. A pre-meeting review copy of the document should be posted on 15-Sep.

Thanks,
Mike
