[ISS] Question to ISS Equipment Manufacturers

Hello:

At last week Traffic Surveillance Subcommittee there was a request/action from Airbus and Boeing to equipment manufacturers.  The action is as follows:

The aircraft manufacturers have indicated they can provision to supply 100 W cooling airflow to a 3 MCU space in their racks. Aircraft equipment manufacturers are requested to describe any weight and reliability trade-offs due to thermal packaging between 3 MCU and 4 MCU line replaceable units (LRUs). Any other perceived trade-offs should be described.

This will be discussed at the in-person meeting November 17-18, 2022.
