Please forward to the 424 Working Group participants, or provide me the last meeting’s e-mailing list for me to send the message.

This is my follow up from the Oct meeting on the Zero Angle VDA working paper.

I spoke to my team manager on this issue when I got back home.  He provided me with the attached Special Airworthiness Information Bulletin, issued by the FAA on Aug 26, 2014 (see attached file).  It explains the FAA policy for removing VDAs from IAPs when obstacles in the visual segment may create a hazard.  I was not aware of this bulletin at the time of our 424 meeting.

I have spoken with Brad Rush after he attended the latest Charting Forum.

I was informed the FAA will continue the current policy.
