Hello All,

   Attached is the PowerPoint presented on our WebEx call earlier this week.  The HRCS Consortium formation documents are accessible from the presentation, and also attached above for your convenience.  On a go-forward basis, members of the HRCS Consortium will determine which challenges to undertake, their relative priority, and how best to accomplish them.  If action is taken now, industry best practices, protocols, and standards can be shaped such that Suppliers, Integrators/OEMs, and Operators/Customers all benefit with interoperable methods, improved performance feedback, and increased reliability with concomitant greater customer satisfaction- a "win-win-win."
   We believe that an SAE-ITC Consortium is the best structure to lead future IVHM/HRCS development.  Participants can collaborate on a pre-competitive basis to promote IVHM implementation through the application of the JA6268 standard and ancillary protocols.   A single industry standard will help avoid the proliferation of multiple different approaches which would be costly and counterproductive.
